The Fibertex® fiberglass mesh for electrical use was developed to structure the epoxy mass in the coil insulation of large transformers. Impregnation with class H epoxy resin gives the mesh an efficient structure while maintaining its thread spacing and, at the same time, good flexibility.
The Fibertex® fiberglass mesh can be used on the exterior of the transformer, preventing birds from nesting and accumulating straw and twigs, avoiding the risk of fire in the transformer.
