Structural Reinforcements for Abrasives

Fibertex® structural reinforcement for abrasives is manufactured from E-type glass filaments of extremely high strength and low elongation; produced in various patterns and impregnated with special resins, they provide extremely high-performance structural reinforcement for cutting discs, grinding discs, grinding wheels and flap discs.

This Fibertex® structural reinforcement line for abrasives is made up of various types of mesh and thicknesses (from 0.15 mm to 2.5 mm), thus meeting the requirements of each abrasive. We also offer a wide range of cutting dies designed to accommodate diameters from 6 mm to 900 mm. These dies are gauged and calibrated to provide greater accuracy in the final diameter of the abrasive reinforcement mesh.
The unique characteristics of the mesh manufacturing give the final product (grinding wheels, flap discs, cutting and grinding discs) extremely high strength in compliance with national and international standards, ensuring good performance at high speeds in the most diverse applications and providing total safety for users.

In addition to all the advantages already described, Fibertex® brings to the market an innovative resin finishing technology that eliminates the use of polyethylene (plastic) film as a separator. Even though no plastic is used, the finish prevents the meshes from sticking to one another. This innovation makes the user's work easier, providing greater production agility, as well as an important contribution to environmental preservation by eliminating the use of plastic.
