Ceramic Paper

Ceramic paper is a product composed of high-purity ceramic fibers and a small amount of organic binders. Advanced production techniques ensure great structural uniformity, which is characterized by low thermal conductivity, good handling strength and good dielectric strength. Easy to cut, it can cover or be wrapped in the most varied shapes, providing high thermal insulation efficiency.
Some applications of ceramic paper:

- Insulation of metal surfaces
- Gaskets
- Auxiliary lining in metal troughs
- Plug covering
- Insulation of automotive muffler and silencer bodies
- Insulation of bus engine compartments
- Insulation of household appliances
Ceramic paper has excellent chemical stability, resisting attack from most corrosive agents.
The exceptions are hydrofluoric acids and concentrated alkalis. The paper also resists oxidation and reduction.
If wetted with water, steam or oil, the thermal and physical properties are completely restored upon drying. There is no water in its composition.
Benefits and Differentiators:
- High thermal resistance, efficiently withstanding high temperatures.
- Low thermal conductivity, minimizing heat transfer and increasing energy efficiency.
- Flexibility and lightweight design, making installation and handling easier.
- Thermal shock resistance, maintaining integrity even under sudden temperature changes.
