Structural AR Fiberglass

Fibertex® structural AR fiberglass with alkali-resistant treatment was specially developed for use in GRFC cement composites, such as: concrete, mortar, precast elements, cement boards, among others.
Used in small proportions (5% by weight), it prevents cracking and increases the performance of ready-mixed concretes and mortars.
Benefits and Differentiators:
- Crack Prevention: The addition of approximately 5% fiber by weight to concrete or mortar helps prevent cracks, increasing structural integrity.
- Structural Reinforcement Resizing: Enables a reduction in the amount of metal reinforcement required, optimizing resources.
- Greater Cohesion and Homogeneous Finish: Provides a more uniform and aesthetic surface to structures.
- Reduced Floor Thickness: Allows thinner floors to be built without compromising strength, resulting in lower concrete consumption.
- Superior Strength vs. Conventional Mix: Increases the mechanical strength of structures compared to traditional concretes.
- Greater Workability: Facilitates the handling and application of concrete or mortar, improving the efficiency of the construction process.
- Shrinkage and Plastic Cracking Control: Minimizes common problems in concretes and mortars, ensuring greater durability.
